Professor and researcher at the PENSAR Social and Cultural Studies Institute at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá Campus, Colombia). Wooldy has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, a postgraduate diploma in Social Studies from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (Guadalajara, Mexico) and a Master’s degree in Latin American Philosophy from the Santo Tomás University (Bogotá, Colombia). He is currently working on his PhD in Philology at Leipzig University (Germany). He was awarded the Jean-Claude Bajeux Award by the Latin American Social Studies Council (CLACSO). Wooldy has conducted several research projects and published his work in both Spanish and French on Colombian, Haitian and Venezuelan migration.
