Rodrigo Grajales

Rodrigo Grajales is a photographer born in 1960 and currently lives in Pereira, Colombia. He has a Master’s degree in Esthetics and Creation at the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira. In the field of journalism he has collaborated with Ñ Magazine and the Clarín newspaper in Argentina; Anthropos, Frontera D and Altair Magazine in Spain; Warscape in London; Internationale in Italy; and Kunststadt in Germany. In Colombia his work has featured in El Espectador, Universo Centro, La Patria, El Diario, Semana, El Malpensante and several digital sites, such as Verdad Abierta, La Silla Vacía, La Cola de la Rata, Colombia Plural and Baudó Public Agency. 

Rodrigo has participated in multiple regional and national galleries with the Ministry of Culture. He has had 21 individual exhibitions, published five eBooks and has won several awards in the fields of journalism and art. His documentary and artistic work is committed to telling the stories of people groups living with political conflict and cultural and social resistances in Colombia.
