Wooldy has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, a postgraduate diploma in Social Studies from the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (Guadalajara, Mexico) and a Master\u2019s degree in Latin American Philosophy from the Santo Tom\u00e1s University (Bogot\u00e1, Colombia). He is currently working on his PhD in Philology at Leipzig University (Germany). He was awarded the Jean-Claude Bajeux Award by the Latin American Social Studies Council (CLACSO).
